About DeSoto Central Market

A wonderful place to eat, meet and drink local, DeSoto Central Market is a unique food hall that houses seven different vendors in one artisanal market environment. The market is housed in the historic DeSoto Building in downtown Phoenix, promoting urban renewal and historic preservation. The building was constructed in 1928 as the C.P. Stephens DeSoto Six Motorcars dealership, and has since been home to a diverse mix of businesses. DeSoto Central Market is located in the center of the Roosevelt Row arts district and is committed to creating a communal gathering place, while serving fresh farm-to-table food from local purveyors and craft cocktails, craft beers, and wine. The food hall concept regularly hosts events, caters and can also be rented out for private events. With community events and pop-up markets, DeSoto Central Market is committed to creating a gathering place heralding back to a time when the daily market was the heart of every city.
