About Wine Cellar Restaurant

A local favorite located in the heart of downtown Los Gatos. Although Wine Cellar was established in 1966, a few years ago we aquired 3000 square feet of additional space in the back of the Old Town building. We transformed this new space into two beautiful brand new rooms which just opened in December of 2018! Whether it's a wedding reception, baby shower, birthday party, rehearsal dinner, holiday celebration or business meeting/presentation, Wine Cellar is the quintessential space for your special event! Our smaller Library Room seats up to 30 at one long table, but as few as 10 (or less) with cocktail tables added for mingling. We can also seat 32-40 at four parallel tables - but it can get a little snug to have 10 per table. Our Library Room Fee is $250. Pre-tax food and beverage minimums vary and are listed below: Lunch (11:30-3:30) - $1000 Sun-Thurs Dinner (4pm on) - $1500 Fri/Sat Dinner (4pm on) - $2200 Rates can occasionally be modified depending on date, headcount and situation. Please inquire with any and all concerns. AV equipment (projector/screen) may be added to your room for $150. A satellite bar and bartender can also be added. Set up/staffing fee is $200 for Vineyard Room and a smaller bar for our Library is $150. You may specify how you’d like your bar stocked (well, call, premium). Drinks will be charged by consumption. You can also pre-select some wines to have in the room rather than set up a satellite bar. Standard Event is 3 hours. Extra time incurs extra charge by hour. We can occasionally be flexible with pricing depending on day, headcount, etc, so please inquire with any and all concerns!

Our intimate Library Room is perfect for a smaller setting. We can seat up to 30 at one long queen's table, or up to 40 at four parallel tables. We can also set up a more casual standing cocktails/hors d'oeuvres event. We have hosted many business dinners, family dinners, baby showers, birthday parties, bridal luncheons, holiday parties and more!

Atmosphere/Decor: Casually elegant, room features a custom edge lit, grape vine etched glass from a local artisan , stone columns and wine barrels. Soothing stucco walls are adorned with custom local art, while lightly fauxed wrought iron chandeliers create soft lighting.

Our comfortably sophisticated Vineyard Room is perfect for large groups. We have hosted birthday parties, business meetings, concerts, bridal and baby showers, rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, wedding receptions, business dinners and more! The Old Town building was once part of the original school of Los Gatos and our Vineyard Room features many historical touches..as well as a selection of photos from local vineyards. It can be set with 5 ft round tables, 8 ft rectangles, chairs only or standing and seated cocktail...as well as any combination of these.
